CFD-Based Flow and Damper Behavior Analysis in HRSG System
A steady-state CFD simulation was conducted to evaluate the aerodynamic behavior within the HRSG system. The analysis focused on identifying pressure loss regions and recirculation zones, visualizing velocity distribution and mixing, and determining the minimum flow velocity required to keep the damper flap open under operating conditions. Additionally, the pressure drop was assessed as a function of the flap opening angle.
- Steady-state CFD simulation
- Identification of pressure loss regions and recirculation zones
- Determination of required flow velocity near the damper flap to prevent unintended closing in the open position
- Visualization of velocity distribution and mixing behavior
- Evaluation of pressure drop as a function of the flap opening angle
